Ahrista is a fantastically tasty eating apple.
The apple is picked at the end of September, and has a thick, crisp skin. The apple is pink on the cheek, i.e. the sunny side, while the shadow side is yellow.
Ahrista was developed in Ahrensberg in Germany and is a sister variety to the beloved Elstar.
The taste of Ahrista is aromatic and sour-sweet, and the must is white-yellow like the pulp.
Ahrista is not a large variety in our orchard, so we only produce a limited amount each year.
