Vesterhavsmost apple must Cox Holstein 0.75L
- Cox Holstein originates from a chance seedling of the mother plant Cox Orange. The variety was discovered in 1918 in Schleswig-Holstein. It's a large, coarse apple with a high sugar content that isn't apparent due to its excellent acidity. Cox Holstein is triploid, meaning it cannot self-pollinate or pollinate other varieties.
- The red and yellow apples ripen in September and are excellent for cider. A good apple for those who don't drink alcohol but still want a strong flavor.
- Cox Holstein has an intense aroma of rhubarb and a tart-fresh taste. Here, the rhubarb aroma is also clearly discernible, along with notes of tamarind and cranberry.
-
The cider is excellent with food. For example, enjoy it with a Greek lamb dish with oregano and tzatziki.
-
And Cox Holstein is also a lovely companion in a drink. How about a glass of White Sangria? Mix it with lemon, green grapes, a cinnamon stick, and a bottle of our Cox Holstein Eau de Vie.
- 0.75L apple cider
