- Discovery originally comes from England and came to Denmark in 1980. It is one of our earliest apples and is already picked in August. The tree is not very fast growing and thrives best on our sandy soil, on rootstock M7 and MM106
- Discovery is a lovely apple that should be enjoyed fresh from the tree. That's why we must quickly after picking.
- Discovery has a sour rhubarb scent, and also tastes of mirabelle. It is a fine glass to offer as an alternative to white wine, as the must is perceived as "dry" like a good glass of Riesling.
- Enjoy a glass of Vesterhavs must Discovery at the breakfast table with freshly toasted French bread with rhubarb jam, and enjoy the must later in the day mixed with a TONOW, served with grilled spiny lobster with green asparagus on the terrace.
