- Discovery originally comes from England and arrived in Denmark in 1980. It is one of our earliest apples and is picked as early as August. The tree is not particularly vigorous and thrives best on our sandy soil, on rootstock M7 and MM106.
- Discovery is a lovely apple that should be enjoyed fresh from the tree. Therefore, we press it quickly after picking.
- Discovery has a tart rhubarb aroma and also tastes of mirabelle plums.
- Enjoy a glass of Vesterhavsmost Discovery at breakfast with a freshly toasted slice of white bread with rhubarb jam, and later in the day, enjoy the juice served with grilled Norway lobster and green asparagus on the patio.
