- Filippa originally comes from Hundstrup in Sydfyn, and the variety has been known in Denmark since 1889. Filippa is a healthy and hardy variety that is well suited to West Jutland's sandy soil. It is a variety that we will plant more of in the coming years.
- We have 500 Filippa in the plantation, and it is an incredibly healthy apple tree, which does not give a huge yield - but the taste is completely its own. Filippa are often picked a little before they are ripe, as they otherwise easily fall off. That's why we re-ripen them for a few days in boxes until they have just the right taste.

Filippa is a fresh and tart eating apple, and the bright must smells of pineapple and tastes like grandma's apple cake on a warm September day years ago. For some it is the most preferred throughout the day due to its strong apple flavor, while for others it is a little too much.
